1 - Eradicate Extreme Hunger I will volunteer with or donate to a local food bank.
2 - Achieve Universal Primary Education I will raise funds to support an organization that provides educational materials and support for disadvantaged children.
3 - Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women I will let my government officials, peers and family know that I support women's rights and freedoms.
4 - Reduce Child Mortality I will talk to people about the importance of disease prevention through education and early treatment.
5 - Improve Maternal Health I will talk to my peers, family and government officials about the importance of comprehensive and accessible family planning and sexual and reproductive health education and services.
6 - Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases I will educate myself and my peers about how HIV/AIDS is transmitted and how it can be prevented.
7 - Ensure environmental sustainability I will host a screening of a documentary that addresses climate change, food security, water sanitation, industrial impacts on the environment, or species diversity and share what I learn with others.
8 - Develop a Global Partnership for Development I will participate in or host a workshop/information session on privilege and power to raise awareness of how we are all involved in and affected by global inequality.
9 - Be Aware of Volunteer Opportunities I pledge to visit ACIC's members' sites for local volunteer opportunities http://www.acic-caci.org/members.html
